Meet Your Teacher Night
This is your opportunity to meet your child's teacher, check out the classroom, get an understanding for the daily schedule, and hear about the expectations they have for your child. You will also meet your child's class parents who are PTA liaisons that will not only keep you up-to-date about what we have planned throughout the year, but will also include you in parties/in-class events, messages from the teachers, and field trips.

Bring your child and help us take over Meadow Drive School's playground! The Parent Teacher Association wants to welcome the families of Meadow Drive School back from summer break with a picnic designed to wear your kids out so that they'll go to bed early and sleep through the night. We are providing an awesome DJ, a huge bounce house, and one last chance to shop at our Scholastic Book Fair. We'll have a big grill set up with dads…

We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how 'bout you! Before the kickoff for the Homecoming football game, come join us in a parade. All Meadow Drive students are welcome to ride on our float while parents and siblings may walk behind/beside. Show school spirit and have fun with new friends!

Students will give their biggest smiles (or volunteers will coax one out of them) for fall photo day. Get your child's photo taken now and see how they grow by the end of the year!
Find out more »Dual Language Potluck Dinner
The families participating in the dual language program will meet at Meadow Drive playground for a potluck dinner to celebrate the new year and get to know each other a little better. Bring a dish to be shared with all! The children will even prepare a few bilingual songs for us. Es una noche tan bonita!

Venezia’s Fall Festival
Join us for a day of fun fall festivities and support both a small business owner AND two district PTAs! Hampton Street School and Meadow Drive School are coming together for this fundraiser and for only $8/person, you get: -pumpkin painting -spin art -bouncy house -face painting -breakfast and lunch (while supplies last) We hope to see you there!

This is a spook-tacular day where Meadow Drive students dress in costume and rotate through five stations of Halloween treats. The PTA provides a dance party, crafts station, pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating station, and outdoor games. Our parent volunteers provide the hands-on assistance to make sure all runs smoothly. No masks, makeup, or weapons permitted. Costumes may be worn to school. Pack a bagged lunch as students will eat in their classrooms. Contact us if you'd like to volunteer!

PTA Meeting
At this meeting we will have a guest speaker who will offer a presentation for our parents similar to one they give our students at an assembly during the day. This meeting will also be an important time for us to elect our nominating committee for our election in the spring.
Find out more »Holiday Boutique
This is a 3-day in-school event where students shop for holiday gifts for their families. The gifts range in price from $1-$10 and parents may send in a wishlist with money so that our volunteers can best help students find the perfect gift in their budget. Parents may sign up for shifts to welcome our young shoppers, restock inventory between classes, and help new mathematicians learn how far their dollar will go.

S.T.E.A.M. Museum
This mobile museum turns our gymnasium into a state-of-the-art hands-on children's museum focused on STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, art and math). With activities suitable for all ages, there are workstations that not only augment our existing science and math curriculum, but also expose our students to high-tech fields of study for which they never before had access. Parent volunteers are necessary to guide students through the hands-on workstations.
